Mission Events

 

Mission events are scheduled through out the church year to increase knowledge of and provide funds for our selected missions. Opportunities for service are emphasized and weekly offerings to Missions (as designated on weekly offering envelopes) is encouraged.

Food and donations are solicited for the community mission

Neighborhood Picnic and Ice Cream Social

 

featuring Minnesota Teen Challenge choir & testimonials

 

The community is encouraged to attend. Hamburgers, hot dogs, homemade pies and ice cream are on sale. Music and games provide fun for the whole family. This event sponsors the mission of Minnesota Teen Challenge.

 

Fall Mission Dinner

An elegant dinner and inspirational program is held during the fall season. The dinner proceeds are donated to one of our supported missions on a rotating basis.

 

   Memorial Lights Service and Tea

 

This event is held at the beginning of Advent. It gives us the opportunity to remember departed friends and family members in a beautiful way and allows us to support our mission groups.
